This year, MBC opens up submissions for the 2012 MBC College Musicians Festival to all college students from all countries!
The festival was founded with the purpose of empowering the creativeness of student musicians who are passionate for music, and also to discover new songs that everyone can enjoy. The festival, which is celebrating its 36th anniversary this year, is one of the most time-honored music festivals in Korea as well as the best festival for college students who love music.
Starting this year, the music festival for college students is going to be held as an international event. While it traditionally has been open only to local Koreans, there will now be a special stage for foreign college students to showcase their talents. Any college student from any country is eligible for apply for this music festival as long as they love music. Applicants may apply by uploading two video files (an original song and a cover song). Five teams will be selected and they will be given an opportunity to participate in the main concert of the College Musicians Festival as special entries. They will also be eligible for the special award.
Thus, all the expenses will be covered by MBC if the participant makes to the final round.
