Leeteuk has an emotional moment thanking Chinese fans at Super Junior’s Concert on August 26.
While in Guangzhou, China Leeteuk broke down in tears as he thanked the crowd. He addressed his fans by saying:
Haven’t come to Guangzhou in a long time, you are the ones who gave us all the love and support in the world.
Then he asked:
Can you wait for me for 2 years?
After asking he began to have an emotional breakdown on stage. The fans, noticing his tears, began to chant “Uljima, uljima” (a Korean phase for don’t cry). Even fellow member Donghae was asking Leeteuk to stop crying. Getting composer of himself he addressed the audience again:
We’ve already been together for 8 years…I will return with an even more handsome image!
Saying this caused him to kneel down, bow to the crowd and really cry. I’m sure the crowd was a total mess. Later that evening Leeteuk tweeted to fans about the days events:
China ELF who have given us so much, thank you and I love you! The happiness and love that we shared today, in two years’ time I will return it even more! Xie xie!
Leeteuk is set to join the Korean Army later this year.
