Psy performed his Gangnam Style dance during a MTV’s 2012 Video Music Awards
Psy did his famous dance with comedian Kevin Hart on stage at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards ceremony which was held in Los Angeles on Thursday night, which was broadcasted live.
The singer has been the talk of the media for the last few weeks for his music video for Gangnam Style and that has spawned various online parodies.
The music video even broke the 100 million mark on YouTube Tuesday.
Psy was questioned on how he feels about the number of views from Kevin Hart, the host of the VMA’s, Psy answered in Korean that he feels really good and happy.
“I wanted to describe my feeling in Korean once on this stage… It’s knocking me dead,” he said.
He then performed his famous horse dance one more time before making his exit to great applause.
With the song’s explosive popularity on the Internet, Psy signed a contract with Universal Republic Records, a label owned by Universal Music Group, and a separate management contract with a label run by Scooter Braun Project, a company founded by Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun.
Psy is on his second trip to the U.S. in a month to promote his new album and to discuss details of the contract with Braun.
