KBSN show XY, hosted by Shin Dong Yup and Hong Suk Chun is currently on a temporary hold.
KBSN released that the new transgender show, XY is currently not airing it’s broadcast.
The news station released on their homepage that, “On the 6th, “XY” aired it’s first episode. However due to the viewers requests, we have decided to temporarily stop the broadcast of the show. Thank you for the positive attention”.
The show featured men in the body of a woman, and then asked direct and efficient questions at the guests.
However, after the first episode was broadcasted, various groups protested that the show were ruining their children’s mindset and requested the show to be closed. The groups went to big name news industries and rented out tons of ad’s stating that the show be cancelled.
Following this, KBSN decided to temporarily cease the show. The protesters pressed on for a permanent close, causing attention to the whole situation.
