Water And Wood Generation Says It’s “Our Island”

The duo turns the political controversy into something beautiful.

The island disputes between Japan and China are no where near to being settled, and, recently, protests in China have turned violent. In an effort to stem the violence and promote rational and peaceful talks, Chinese duo group Water and Wood Generation 水木年华 composed a new song entitled Our Island 我们的岛. The peaceful song has gained much attention and approval with Chinese netizens and is being passed around very quickly. Hopefully, this song, along with many other celebrities’ call for peaceful protests will cool down the high emotions surrounding this matter.
