After their New York stop earlier in the week, on Friday January 24 it was California’s turn as CNBlue stopped by the Pasadena Civic Auditorium for the second leg of their Blue Moon Tour!
Around 8:10pm they kicked off the concert with an Opening video that sent fans screaming aloud and started with Where You Are, followed by
Man Like Me
Coffee Shop and Have a Goodnight. Here is when they took a break and did a mini introduction session all in English and asked to see how many fans were International over Korean. Can you guess who won? After this mini-break it was time to Wake Up everyone again… with that kiss 33 seconds in, how could we not??
Talking to fans again, Yonghwa showed fans here some love by performing a bit of this song
That lead to Lovelight and Yonghwa’s solo Feeling. During that solo fans were a bit rowdy with their declarations of love that didn’t fit the mood of a ballad but it ended up amusing him so it was all good. Next followed These Days and Y, Why. By this point they explained what DSM meant (Dirty/Dark Sexy Metal) and continued with Just Please.
They continued rocking out to TATTOO,
In My Head
and Intuition when finally, the song that started it all,
I’m a Loner
Then it was with I’m Sorry that they said was the end of the show. As they left fans started chanting encore, encore! Until a minute or so a video started playing and they came back wearing their concert tour t-shirts and hit the encore stages with Hey You, Love Girl and their Heartstrings OST, You’ve Fallen For Me.
To the delight of many, they continued to interact with the crowd when all of a sudden Yonghwa…
Was not expecting that beatboxing! It was such a cool beat that wonderfully lead to Love
and last but not least, the true ending song of the night with the English version of Try Again, Smile Again where Yonghwa nicely took some fangifts
before taking a group shot with everyone and then exiting the stage.
Overall it was a pumped filled two hours. I admit I did not know every single song they played, a few were new to me but hearing them live was definitely a good way to get me to listen to more of their tracks to be ready for next time, since they did promise to come back!
